I'M HOME

Royal Poodle Rescue has successfully rescued over 8,500 dogs through the unwavering dedication of volunteers and generous donors. However, our remarkable adopters also play a vital role in our mission. We extend our deepest gratitude for opening your hearts and homes to a dog in need. Providing these dogs with a permanent home is the most precious gift they can receive.

Brynn is Home!

Brynn is home with Christine and Jesse of Orlando, along with their three children.  The family has been heartbroken since they lost their last dog and were looking for another pup to complete their family.  Brynn will have a fully fenced yard for exploring and playtime.  She will also enjoy evening walks with the family as well. Jesse works from home, so she will never be alone for long. She will accompany her new family most everywhere, but when she can’t, she will stay with grandma, who will spoil her!   Her new fur-sibling is a rabbit named Hazelnut, who thinks he’s a dog! Brynn will have such a fun and active life with her new family!  Welcome Home, Brynn!

Pixie is Home!

Pixie is home with Tracy and James of Rockledge.  The couple lost their beloved chihuahua earlier this year and were ready to open their hearts to another.  Pixie now has a 5 month old terrier brother named Renny. The two enjoy walks together during the day with Dad who works from home, and they go to the local dog park in the evenings. Pixie will be a very happy and loved pup.  Welcome Home, Pixie!

Kiwi is Home!

Kiwi has found his home with Riann and Dalton of Davenport.  The couple has a four-year-old poodle mix named Maisie and have been hoping to add another poodle mix to their family.  Along came Kiwi!  The couple quickly fell in love with him, and Maisie wholeheartedly approved!  The family has a large, secure backyard, so Kiwi will not only have a buddy to play with but space to enjoy the outside world.  Dalton is a runner, and both parents enjoy morning and evening walks together so there will be no shortage of exercise for Kiwi and his fur-sister.  Kiwi will have a very happy life!  Welcome Home, Kiwi!

Chloe is Home!

Patty and Jim are long-time dog lovers.  They currently have a pup named Laddie and recently lost their other beloved pup, Sofie.  They connected with Poodle & Pooch Rescue to find a pup who needs a home and spotted Chloe.  Then they met her and fell in love (again!) They are both retired and enjoy that laid-back lifestyle, but also love walking an average of three miles/day. So Chloe will have lots of company – both human and canine – and regular exercise. Welcome home Chloe!

Dallas is Home!

Dallas has found his family! Diane and Sean, along with their two adult children, welcomed Dallas into their Winter Garden home.  Sean had dogs growing up, but this is their first dog together, and they are ready to care for and train a puppy. Father and son are in business together, and are flexible to be home for Dallas during the day. Dallas will get daily walks/runs and lots of playtime in his yard. This boy hit the jackpot with four adults to dote on and love him, along with a two-year old cat sibling.  Welcome Home, Dallas!

Ollie is Home!

Ollie is officially with his forever home and family! This wonderful little guy hit the jackpot when he was fostered by Amy and her family, and they decided that he was already home, with them! Ollie will have an awesome life to look forward to with all the joys of a warm home, loving family, and a sense of security.  Welcome Home, Ollie!

Coco is Home

Sweet 6 year old Coco is home with Mary in Fruitland Park. Coco came into our care when she was brought in to a local partner vet to be euthanized. After some great food and good medical care for her skin, she blossomed into a perfect, happy & loving senior girl. Now she and Mary can enjoy Golden Girls time relaxing on the sofa together telling stories and watching movies. Welcome Home, Coco!

Mr. Paws is Home!

Mr. Paws is home with Grant and Cheryl of Altamonte Springs. This retired couple was lonely after having lost their senior boy. They spotted Mr. Paws and couldn’t wait to drive over to meet him. It was love at first sight from both directions. Mr. Paws is a “talker” so there will be many “fireside chats” as he tells them how happy he is to be happy, healthy and home!  Welcome Home,

Sammy is Home!

Sammy is home with Helena and Arice of .  The couple lost their last dog a few years ago.  In the meantime, they have provided a home for a Chinchilla, a Rabbit, and three Guinea Pigs. Their last dog  was special needs, as is their Rabbit, so they have experience with special needs animals – just what Sammy needs.  Sammy will join the couple for several daily walks, and Helena works from home, so Sammy will rarely be alone.   Sammy will be loved and well-cared for.  Welcome Home, Sammy!

Mango is Home!

Mango has found his home with Ansley and Nick of Winter Garden.  Ansley and Nick both grew up with dogs in their homes.  Now, as parents of three young children, they are big believers in the idea that pets make a home.  In 2022, they lost their beloved pup, Winston, and are ready to welcome a new pup into their lives. Then they met Mango and the rest is history!  Ansley is a full-time mom, so Mango will have plenty of company during the day.  Mango will have a fully fenced yard for exploring and playtime, and the family enjoys long walks around the neighborhood, so he’ll have plenty of exercise, too.   Mango will be living his best life!  Welcome Home, Mango!

Kevin is Home!

Gabby and Connor have grown up with pets all of their life and were finally ready for a pup of their own. They immediately fell in love with Kevin. Set up a training session at Beyond the Leash for Kevin, Gabby, and Conner to make sure that Kevin was set up for success. The trainer said Kevin is a very sweet pup, but high energy boy that needs proper exercise, food puzzles, and to make sure his adopters keep up with everything he’s learned in training. Gabby and Conner feel confident that they can provide him with the structure he needs. Happy tails for this playful boy! Welcome home Kevin!

Dancer is Home!

Dancer has found her family with David and Carlos of Palm Bay, and their roommates.  David and Carlos lost their two 12 year old dogs to cancer over the past year. They were ready to commit to a puppy they can keep for her lifetime, like they did their last pups. Carlos works from home, and if they need to go out, their roommates are available to help out.  They plan on taking Dancer on several walks a day, and there are a couple of dog parks nearby for socialization. Dancer has a 7 year old cat sibling named Momo, who belongs to their roommates.  Dancer is one lucky pup!  Welcome Home, Dancer!

Trace is Home!

Trace is home with Lori and Tim of Lake Mary.  Their last pup passed away some years ago, and they realized it was time to open their home and their hearts to a new dog. Lori and Tim work opposite shifts, so Trace will never be alone for long. When Lori learned just how much Trace loves to hunt lizards in the yard, and their yard was unfenced, she went to her neighbor’s right away to ask if they would mind if she put up a fenced area just for Trace.  Trace starts every day excited to explore his yard and play.  The couple also plan on taking him for walks or a jog with Lori, since he likes to GO GO GO!  Trace will be very loved and cherished.  Welcome Home, Trace!

Jude is Home!

Jude is home with Logan and Mackenzie of Winter Park.  The couple both grew up with dogs, and they have always wanted a dog of their own.  They wanted to wait until they had a home with a fenced-in yard and were in a position to adopt. The couple is very active, and both enjoy running, so they were looking for a lab who would be interested in running, and Jude fit the bill.  He will be joining them on 2-3 walks/runs throughout the day.  Jude also has two feline siblings, who are very chill.  This boy will have a happy, active life!  Welcome Home, Jude!

Hazelnut is Home!

Hazelnut has found her home!  Scott and Kelly recently lost their beloved rescue, Ollie, and really missed that canine love and energy in their home.  When they spotted Hazelnut on the Poodle & Pooch Rescue website, they thought she’d fit in great with their condo life in downtown Orlando.  Then they met her and fell in love!  This couple loves walks around Lake Eola and can’t wait for Hazelnut to join them. And their neighborhood is full of dogs and parks, so she will have plenty of opportunities to socialize.  Hazelnut is now a member of a loving family.  Welcome Home, Hazelnut!
